The Rycote Windjammer 1 is a synthetic fur cover that offers approximately 12 dB of wind-noise reduction over a standard windshield. It fits securely using locking zip fasteners and touch fasteners. The materials used are transparent to audio and will remain so if regularly groomed with the brush provided. Each Windjammer fits one specific size of Rycote Windshield. This windjammer fits the WS1 Windshield.
Lower frequencies are reduced an additional 10 dB offering frequency reductions between 30 to 35 dB from 75 Hz and below.
