Tenacious W5920 is a PVC based photo luminescent backing for Screen & Digital (eco-solvent) Print coated with a permanent pressure sensitive acrylic adhesive and backed with a 160gsm HD yellow paper liner.

Luminous materials require a light source to charge them and indoors this needs to be of a high intensity. They tend to show a rapid decay rate but fortunately the human eye quickly adapts to a dark situation and will normally accommodate the tail-off in performance.
After 30 minutes it is only 30% of the intensity after 10 minutes of removing the light source, 15% after 1 hour, 1.6% after 8 Hours and 1% after 12 Hours. Luminous products should not be confused with retro-eflective products (like road signs) that reflect back a light source to increase visibility but require a light source directed at them to have any functionality.
Surface Preparation: The surface on which the tape is to be used must be clean, dry and free from grease and dust. Remember that pressure sensitive adhesive must be applied with the maximum possible pressure in order to achieve maximum adhesion levels. The recommended application temperature is between 15ºC and 25ºC.
Storage: Tapes stored below the minimum application temperature will require warming up to that level before use. Up to 24 hours may be required for this to take place.
