Tenacious T8015 PET Optically Clear Protection Tape
Tenacious T8015 is a single sided PET film with an optically clear adhesive. It is made from a clear PET filmic backing and a solventless UV cured acrylic adhesive. The film is 0.15mm thick and available in widths up to 600mm and in 50 metre rolls.
The adhesive on Tenacious T8015 is low tack and peelable, making it suitable as a temporary or permanent protective tape. It can be easily removed without leaving a residue. The tape is also suitable for die-cutting into circles and then used as a clear tab for holding items.
Tenacious T8015 has excellent thermal stability to 120°C and is immiscible in water, so it cannot be tested for pH. As such, it could be deemed to be pH neutral. The tape is also UV cured, making it environmentally friendly.
Tenacious T8015 is suitable for a variety of applications, including:
Merchandising and promotions, particularly in tab form
Exhibition, Point of Sale, Display for mounting on smooth surfaces
As a clear protection to stop scuff and abrasion to delicate surfaces, such as white goods, electrical equipment, furniture and brushed stainless steel finishes
As an aesthetic seal over vents to reduce air leakage and improve energy efficiency when appliances/equipment are not being used
As a screen protector to prevent impact damage
