The lightweight baseplate with 15 mm rod system is designed to match the Sony FX9 optical center. It features two attachment points (1/4-20 and 3/8-16) for securely mounting the Sony FX9 body. The baseplate also comes with a pair of 15 mm rods that are 12” long through the length of the baseplate. The bottom of the plate feature several 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 mounting holes for mounting and balancing your camera on equipment like a tripod.Sony FX9 rear insert plate (FX9RIP)
The rear insert plate is a CNC aluminum support plate compatible with the Sony FX9 camera. The plate mounts to the camera body via three M4 mounting screws. The center of the plate is designed with (3) 3/8-16 and (3) 1/4-20 threaded holes for tripod mount. The Push-Button Viewfinder Mount is designed with a 15mm rod with push-button and a L-bracket viewfinder clamp with ratchet knob. The 15mm rod is compatible with the Sony FX9 camera handle or any 15mm mounting hole. It features two points of articulation for horizontal, vertical, and transversal adjustment of your viewfinder. By simply pressing the SHAPE patented push-button, you are allowed a 360-degree rotation to place your view finder in the best position for your use. This pair of SHAPE 15 mm Aluminum Rods (12") connect into your camera rig, extend it, and let you add various SHAPE and third-party accessories compatible with 15 mm rods. With these two rods and with a few fundamental accessories, you can most certainly even begin building your own rig from scratch. The rods are each 15 mm in diameter, 12 inches long, hollow, non-threaded, and made of reliable aluminum coated with a clear finish.
