Add accessories and handheld functionality to your Sony PXW-FX9 camera with this Pro Shoulder Rig Kit from SHAPE. This extensive kit includes a shoulder mount baseplate with 15mm rod system, a form fitting side plate with Arri rosette , a top plate, a rear insert plate, a rosette handle with black push-button, a viewfinder rod clamp with 25mm push-button, a modular top handle, a 4 x 5.6″ matte box, and a follow focus pro. The baseplate includes an integrated shoulder mount that allows you to convert your tripod-mounted camera into a handheld shoulder rig. The rear insert plate attaches to the rear of the camera to support it on the baseplate. The 15mm rods allow you to mount additional accessories, as well as the 4 x 5.6″ matte box and the follow focus pro. The push-button handle attaches to the baseplate and can rotate using the rosette joints for the most comfortable position. The modular top handle can be adjusted to be longer or shorter for your preference, and the viewfinder rod clamp with 25 mm Push-button attaches to the front of the top handle.

The FX9 baseplate is designed to match the Sony FX9 optical center. The bracket system with magnet let you swivel the baseplate to the left for an easy access to the camera screws. It is designed with 2 standard Arri rosettes for handles or accessories mount. The quick release adapter plate is compatible with most VCT tripod plate and there is also a protective rubber pads on top of the plate to protect your camera. Two 15 mm lightweight rod blocs can be fixed to the front and rear of the baseplate, allowing you to install more camera accessories. The safety ratchet knobs are built in a way to apply an optimal pressure to the rods. The thick shoulder pad produces maximum comfort and is made of gel padding and slip-free material. The baseplate is also designed with a sophisticated tool box to store your extra screws and Allen key. Quick access to your extra screws and Allen key can be a time saver, even more so, when you are in the middle of a shoot. The shoulder plate is equipped with 1/4-20 & 3/8-16 threaded holes allowing extra screws to be stored and there is a magnet at the back to attach your Allen key.

Sony FX9 cage top handle (FX9THC)

Add accessories and handheld functionality to your Sony PXW-FX9 camera with this rig kit from SHAPE. It includes a form fitting side plate with Arri rosette , a top plate, a rear insert plate, and a top handle with several threaded holes. Sony FX9 rear insert plate (FX9RIP)

The rear insert plate is a CNC aluminum support plate compatible with the Sony FX9 camera. The plate mounts to the camera body via three M4 mounting screws. The center of the plate is designed with (3) 3/8-16 and (3) 1/4-20 threaded holes for tripod mount. The large surface of the plate also provides necessary support when the camera is mount to a tripod or a shoulder mount.

Sony FX9 Top plate (FX9TP)

Lightweight and robust CNC machined aluminum top plate designed to fit around the native Sony FX9 top handle. The top plate offers an array of (12) 1/4-20 and (12) 3/8-16 threads with Arri standard anti rotating holes, which can be used to attach options around the camera. The Sony FX9 top plate is also designed with a threaded hole to insert your FX9 sensor pin and your FX9 viewfinder cable clamp.

Sony FX9 push-button view finder mount (FX9VF)

The Push-Button Viewfinder Mount is designed with a 15mm rod with push-button and a L-bracket viewfinder clamp with ratchet knob. The 15mm rod is compatible with the Sony FX9 camera handle or any 15mm mounting hole. It features two points of articulation for horizontal, vertical, and transversal adjustment of your viewfinder. By simply pressing the SHAPE patented push-button, you are allowed a 360-degree rotation to place your view finder in the best position for your use. Push, adjust, release, and then its lock.

DOUBLE QUICK HANDLE ARRI ROSETTE SINGLE SHADOW (HAND2S)

Left or right ARRI Rosettes handgrips that can be attached to cameras or camera support hardware that has standard ARRI rosettes. The arm features three points of articulation (2 Push-button, 1 ratchet knob) allowing you to adjust the arm for your comfort. The arm attach to your camera or support via an ARRI compatible rosette with spring-loaded locking levers, which allow you to lock your arms in place. The arm is also designed with (2) ¼-20 and (2) 3/8-16 threaded holes with locking attachment stoppers for additional mounting options and to strongly secure the camera accessories in position. SHAPE is well known for its patented Push-button handle, now used by so many professionals in the industry. The technology was developped to give filmakers quick and easy adjustment. By simply pressing the button, you are allowed a 360-degree rotation to place the handle in the best position for your use. The Push-button system on the Handle articulating joint provides additional articulation near the rosette, while a second push-button articulation joint allows you to rotate and precisely position the rubber handgrips.

SHAPE engineering is internationally renowned and there is one of the most robust motion picture accessories ever built. It mounts on 15 mm rods and features an adjustable arm which puts the gear at the optimal position for the lens, no matter what the diameter is. The unit snaps onto 15 mm rods, allowing for quick attachment, removal, and repositioning. Two 0.8 pitch gears come included and give you a choice of either 28 teeth or 43 teeth - depending on the throw distance of the lens. Additional features include two adjustable hard stops, removable marking disc, and an industry standard accessory port for using optional whips and cranks. Matte box 4x5.6 (MAT4X56)

The 2-Stage 4 x 5.6" matte box from SHAPE can be used as a clip-on matte box and can be mounted on industry-standard 15 mm rod system. It is designed for light control, insertion, and adjustment of filters. It features a two-stage rotating 4 x 5.6" filter holder. The matte box accepts lenses with a front diameter up to 114 mm. It comes with a 82 mm filter ring and six step-up rings that allow you to fit lenses with an outer diameter (52-82, 58-82, 62-82, 67-82, 72-82, 77-82)mm.

15 mm 8" rods (15TUBE8)

Pair of 15 mm rods 8" long that fit studio and LWS 15 mm rod clamps, allowing you to use available rod mounted accessories. The rods are machined from hollow aluminum tubes and feature chamfered ends that make it easier to insert into 15 mm rod clamps, even if the rod isn't perfectly aligned or is at a slight angle to the rod clamp.
