SHAPE Sony FS5, FS5M2 shoulder mount
SHAPE designed a baseplate that would fit with all the key features of the camera. Built small and lightweight, this baseplate is a perfect solution for this camera.
It’s perfect for drone and gimbal application, and it’s designed with lightweight system for mounting any standard 15 mm accessories.In addition to the baseplate, this shoulder mount includes the Quick Handle Rod Bloc (HAND5) with our patent red push button technology. With the push button, you simply press with your thumb to adjust the angle of the handle. When you release the push button, the handle locks in place. It’s fast, easy and solid.The handle and the baseplate is attached to a pair of 15mm 18 inches rods (15TUBE18), as well as an ergonomic and compact padded shoulder pad (SHPAD3) and a back pad with a ¼ thread to attach different accessories. (PAD1).All the accessories for the FS5 are compatible with each other. We proudly make our products in Canada, and we offer a lifetime warranty on all CNC machined parts. Our products are solid and durable.r the baseplate, we added four (4) ¼-20 and two (2) 3/8-16 threaded holes that allow you to attach a tripod plate. To reduce the weight of the baseplate, we removed excess aluminium from the bottom of the plate during the machining process.We also designed a removable support bracket for a METABONES® adapter (FS5MA) that can be added on the baseplate to support the weight and remove stress to the camera lens mount. Fixed with 2 screws in front of the baseplate, it can be removed when not needed.
