Selvyt SR Universal Polishing Cloth is the world's leading brand of polishing cloth.
This unique raised cotton fabric is ideal for polishing all types of surfaces including optical lenses, cameras, computer screens, chromed metal, jewellery, silver and stainless steel.
Made from 100% natural cotton cloth, Selvyt's unique surface is produced with the 'W' binding system which results in a warm velvety texture and Selvyt's SR surface is achived by a process called 'raising'. Both processes ensure that al the dust particles are lifted off the article being polished and held in the fabric, leaving no residue.

Washing Your Selvyt Cloths: A Guide.
Cleaning a Selvyt cloth is important to maintain its effectiveness and prolong its lifespan. Here are some steps you can follow to clean a Selvyt cloth:
Shake out the cloth:
Begin by shaking out any loose dirt or debris from the cloth. You can do this by holding the cloth by one end and giving it a good shake. This will help remove any loose particles from the fibres.
Hand wash:
Fill a bucket with warm water and add a small amount of mild detergent. You can use any mild detergent, such as dish soap or laundry detergent. Submerge the cloth in the water and gently agitate it. Be careful not to rub the cloth too vigorously, as this can damage the fibres. You can also use a soft-bristled brush to gently scrub the cloth.
Rinse:
After washing the cloth, rinse it thoroughly under running water to remove all the soap residue. Be sure to rinse both sides of the cloth.
Air dry:
Hang the cloth up to dry in a well-ventilated area. Avoid using a dryer, as the heat can damage the microfiber fibres. Allow the cloth to air dry completely before using it again.
Note: It is important to avoid using fabric softeners, bleach, or any harsh chemicals when washing a Selvyt cloth, as these can damage the fibres and reduce their effectiveness. Additionally, do not wash Selvyt cloths with other items, as the fibres can attract lint and other particles from other fabrics.
