Sand Bag (Max. load: 25 lbs / 11kg) Feature a rubberized handle for easy repositioning and an eyeletand spring lock equipped for attaching to boom hooks.
Sand bags (Shot Bags & Weight Bags) are an indispensible safety measure on any set to ensure that stands don't tip over or damage expensive equipment and cause injury, resulting in expensive downtime.
Kupo KSD-1680M sand bag features a saddlebag design that is ideally suited to drape over stand legs and boom arms. It ships empty so that you can fill it with your choice of material translating to much lower shipping costs.
Made of sturdy 1,000D Cordura Nylon for long life and thick plastic internal liner bags help keep dust in and water out. It also comes with double velcro design ensuring no sand will leak out of the bags.

What do you use as filler for the sand bag ?
There are many options you could use, here are a few examples
Play Sand - Avail from Hardware store
Dried Sand - Avail from Hardware store
Garden Pebbles - Avail from Hardware store
Aquarium Gravel
Rice - Grocery store
Rocks
Bottled Water - 350ml or 600ml sizes work well
You may want to consider using large Ziploc bags to hold your chosen filler, so as to keep the inside of your sand bag cleaner and help protect the sand bag.
Getting grit or sand caught in the zip or Velcro can become a problem. Also using a Ziploc bag for your filler will help contain any spillage, just in case your sand bag closure was not 100% sealed. Double bagging the filler is also a good tip - Ziploc bags are avaiable from Grocery & Stationary supply stores, the Large size bags are approx 26 x 27cm
