Unbleached muslin is a versatile and useful fabric for film and video production, particularly in situations where a warm, natural look is desired. Whether used as a reflector or as a diffusion material, it can help to create soft, even lighting and enhance the overall visual quality of a shot.
This is a fabric that has been around since the silent film days and is a favorite bounce source. It is softer but can get dirty quick and brown which then changes the color temp, so you want to make sure they are clean. Unbleached is a warmer tone bounce about 500 deg Kelvin warmer than Bleached. You can also push light through Muslin fabrics for a heavy diffusion and the results are super soft.
