Preferred by theatre and film & video professionals, Nashua 357 Gaffer's Tape has a proven reputation for reliability under the most difficult conditions. Superior tensile strength and clean adhesive release resists delamination. Tape off the roll tears straight, hangs straight and is curl resistant. Outstanding performance over a wide range of temperatures and environments. Available Colours: Black, White and Silver.
A high performance waterproof cloth tape made by laminating a polyethylene film to a tough cloth fabric and coating with a premium quality heavy natural rubber based adhesive. The adhesive coating is carried out by using an exclusive “Double pass system.”
Nashua 357 is the industry standard in the Film, T.V, Music and general entertainment industries where it is commonly known as “Gaffer Tape.” It is used in these industries to secure cables to floors, carpets and other surfaces for safety reasons.
In Motor Sports 357 is known as “Race Tape”-(car racing), “100mph Tape”-(Speedboat Racing) and “200mph Tape”-(Motorcycle Racing) & Airframe tape (Aircraft Industry).
Also used widely in the USA as an air-conditioning duct tape. Highly recommended for air tight seals in asbestos removal and for waterproof packaging.
Other applications include;
Heating, air conditioning, ventilating and refrigeration applications.Sealing of seams and joints in metal air handling systems.Manufacture of flexible duct equipped with metal collars.Bonding, protecting, holding, repairing, patching. Asbestos removal and polyethylene hanging.

A: Every situation is different, a surface tests should always be carried out on surfaces where residue or surface damage need to be considerd, temperature & duration of adhesion should be factored into the test. Alsway check with the venue with regard to their tape policy. Consideration should be given to using a delicate surface proctection tape first, before applying a tape which has a more aggresive adhesive
