Muslin is also deal for cycloramas, large painted backings and ceiling flats, it is commonly used as a lighting medium. It may be used both for bouncing where it gives off a soft light without any hot spot, or, as a very soft diffusion material. Muslin is available in bleached & unbleached.
Bleached Muslin can be used as a flat white reflector or as a heavy diffusion, Unbleached Muslin offers a warmer tone. When used as a diffusion Muslin delivers a very soft sourceless light, ideal for low light ambience. It is ideal for using daylight light source for dusk/ night light.
