The Rocket Film Equipment 48"x 48" Black Cloth Floppy Cutter - Hinge is adjacent to the mounting pin (aka Top Hinge)

Cutters are square or rectangular frames with mounting pins attached. Used to control natural or artificial light. They can be used to protect the camera lens from flares, control spill light from other sources, or keep light from reaching an area on the set.

Floppies are Cutters which have an extra layer of material sewn to one edge and held in place with Touch Fastener until needed at which time the Cutter becomes twice its original size.
