The exterior of the DUO-CP series battery is treated with anti-virus and anti-bacterial treatment, which has the effect of reducing viruses and suppressing the growth of bacteria.
(Applied to the main body case and label (excludes the serial number label)
Note: This product is not a pharmaceutical product. Nor does it guarantee infection prevention. The antiviral performance test (ISO21702) and antibacterial test (JIS Z 2801) have been conducted, but it is a verification test for specified viruses and bacteria, not for all viruses and bacteria.
USB Type-C PD compatible
Besides shooting equipment!
Equipped with a USB Type-C PD connector that supplies various devices with PD charging .
It is compatible with PD60W, which is the largest class of commercial batteries.
It is also possible to charge tablets, smartphones and notebook PCs.
Power supply of 60W (5V 3A / 9V 3A / 12V 3A / 15V 3A / 20V 3A) is possible.
It can be charged with the USB PD charger UC-PD1.
It is a combination that is small and not bulky, has the fastest charging, and is recommended for business trips.
D-Tap
The DUO-CP series has two D-Taps that can supply power to small lights and power-saving monitors. The maximum output per location is 80W, and the battery voltage is output through. D-Tap2 (D-Tap Advanced) has a charging compatible function, and can be charged using the dedicated charger VL-DT1.
It can be charged with the small and fastest PD charger UC-PD1.
For business trips and shooting where you don't want to bring a bulky charger, you can make your luggage more compact with a small charger.
The UC-PD1 is a cable-integrated AC charger that supports the Power Delivery standard and can charge IDX batteries equipped with a USB PD terminal.
It supports USB PD output up to 65W, and can also charge laptops, tablets, and smartphones equipped with a Type-C port.
Charging according to the USB PD standard automatically switches the output voltage according to the connected device and charges with the optimum power.
V-Torch (LED light)
Convenient when attaching the battery to a camera, etc. for night photography. If you press the remaining amount display button twice in a row, it will turn ON / OFF and you can illuminate the mount part. And since it turns off automatically (about 10 seconds), you can use it with confidence without forgetting to turn it off.
Communication settings
The remaining battery level can be displayed on the viewfinder of the camera. You can set to SB mode or IB mode by pressing and holding the remaining amount display check button. Battery information such as remaining capacity can be read by using it with a device that supports each mode. * It may not be supported depending on the camera model.

3 Year Manufacturers Warranty*
IDX warrants the above mentioned batteries to be free from defect in workmanship and material for the period of 3 years from the date of original purchase. This does not include the date of any subsequent replacement.
3 Year Capacity Warranty*
IDX warrants that the above mentioned batteries will retain a minimum of 70% nominal capacity for 3 years from the date of original purchase. This does not include the date of any subsequent replacement.
There are specific conditions regarding the use of BMS ENDURA Li-ion Batteries which could invalidate the Capacity Warranty. They are as follows:
- The batteries must not have been continuously operated or stored for more than 5 hours at a temperature over 40°C
- The batteries must never have been operated or stored at a temperature over 60°C
- The batteries must never have been discharged to or below 9.8V
- The number of over discharge counts must be 10% or less of total cycle counts
- IDX batteries should only be used together with IDX chargers

For the IDX Warranty to be valid, users must carefully follow the product operating instructions as per the supplied Instruction Manual. Any damage caused by customers through neglect or incorrect operation may result in the warranty being void.
