The feeling of needing nothing but the gear you brought with you. You, your hands, your gear, possibly a dog, and endless possibilities. 

WHO WE ARE
Our founders grew up like a lot of kids: outside and wild. They were boy scouts, hikers, climbers, and fighters. They became adults, and after trying the corporate life for a while they discovered their passion for the outdoors had never faded, and Arcturus was born.

WHY THE NAME?
Arcturus [Arc-ter-us] is one of the brightest stars in the night sky and the brightest in the northern celestial sphere. So when starting a camouflage gear company we thought the name ironic and ran with it. Arcturus (the star) also has a rich history in celestial navigation, so for an outdoor gear and survival equipment company, the name just fit.
